Hi! I’m Oakley. I’m the newest addition to the Carlson family. ;) I was adopted from the same Humane Society that Chimo came from. Apparently, someone bought me as a gift for a family, and they really didn’t want a dog.. they kept me outside in a lonely kennel for a long time, and then turned me in, claiming I didn’t get along with their cat. The problem is that the never gave me time to get to know their kitty - I do ok with cats now! I’m a husky, maybe mixed with something else.. the vet says if I do have anything else in me, it’s probably another arctic breed. Lots and lots of people ask dad if I’m purebred while we are out walking - I love it when people ask about me! I also love to have conversations - mom and dad will talk to me, and I will say “wrar-wrar-wrar-wrar”, wait for them to talk some more, and then respond back to them. It’s fun - makes me feel loved!
